Mental Health Education to Help Ukraine & Others Deal with War Trauma
- As an educational nonprofit, we provide online mental health PowerPoint presentations on a wide range of topics such as mental wellness, cyberbullying, civil and legal rights for people with mental disabilities on Long Island and NY with focus on youth and students with mental disabilities. Long term we will provide international services to those in need anywhere on the globe notably Latin America, Texas, Ukrraine, and global when we obtain proper licensing
- We want our youth to be strong advocates and we plan to reform the foster care system by advocating foor improved parental training and advocating for educating foster parents on the history of the children in their care.

- Since 2014 after the Euromaidan and again since the nvasion in 2022,, Ukraine has been traumatised by brutal agression. the Great Leap Forward is here to help with PowerPoint online mental health education, fund raising for civilians and the armed forces and a buddy system where Dr Reagan will be available to talk to any Ukrainian on Whatsapp who just needs someone to listen

- These services will be provided to youth and students with mental disabilities in Long Island, NY and when we obtain proper licensing we will provide international services anywhere there are needs like in Latin America and Ukraine. These services include independent living skills, job and career skills such as how to create a cv, and a cover letter and how to interview for a job. These services are part of online PROS.
- Our target market locations includes Long Island, Ukraine, and international, global access, notably Latin America when we obtain proper licensing
- We also will be offering peer support. Peer support specialists are people with lived experience with mental issues including incarceration, mental trauma due to violence, war and/or loss. A peer specialist has walked the path of recovery.
- Our peer support service is to help youth reach their full potential and to discuss their motivations and personal issues
- One major goal is to support reforming the foster care system.

- Orlando is the Executive Director, President, and Founder. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Management. he is very passionate about PROS, peer support, and helping youth from diverse populations. His passion is Latin America. He has personal experience with mental illness; Orlando has experience in a group home setting and his inspiration was Patch Adams who was a person with severe mental illness who became very successful. Moreover, Orlando wantsto be the next Father Flanagan and wants the GLF to be like Boys Town. One major goal of Orlando is to reform the foster care system and protect foster children from abuse of any kind.

- The target beneficiaries are youth, teachers, professors, school districts, mental health agencies, and charities helping vulnerable populations with mental health and trauma issues. The activities will begin with online educational videos and eventually online one on one counselling. The target beneficiaries are global but concentrated in Long Island, Latin America, Texas, and Ukraine., but we are global when wee obtain the proper licensing.
- Teachers, professors, businesses, youth in the foster care system, and school districts will benefit because we will provide them access to educational videos and presentations conducted by our professor and VP, Dr Réagan Lavorata on subjects dealing with mental health and wellness, cyberbullying, sexual harassment, rape and abuse, and other related mental health issues. They can educate students and employees using these online workshops.
- Students and youth can benefit from these workshops through their teachers and school districts as part of their health and wellness curricula.
- Ukrainians including Ukrainian educators, students, and anyone experiencing war trauma will benefit from these workshops online by offering coping strategies for those experiencing trauma and personal loss due to the brutal invasion.
- We want to help youth in foster care and help them cope wuth the mental challenges and abuse of the system.

DR REAGAN LAVORATA PHD, VP
- Dr Reagan is the VP and an adjunct professor of business who teaches globally online including students from Ukraine. She holds a PhD and 4 masters including an MBA. Dr Reagan is involved in helping Ukraine through several nonprofits and her students and is very passionate about Ukraine.She has been supporting Ukraine since Euromaidan in 2014 and increased support since the 2022 full scale invasion.She also speaks on podcasts about Ukraine. Dr Reagan will also conduct HR duties and her concentration by location is Ukraine.
